When a users has placed a personalized license plate in their cart the personalization is placed on hold for 20 minutes. If the users is not active on the site for 20 minutes the hold is automatically removed from the message. If the user reengages with the website an automatic attempt is made to put the message back on hold without any intervention from the user. If the hold cannot be made the user is informed that they plate is removed form their shopping cart.

No other timers are used on the web site.
